"Impact Games for Peace"
Eric Brown co-founded ImpactGames to create compelling interactive experiences around current events. Toward this end, ImpactGames developed PeaceMaker, a video game simulation of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. PeaceMaker has been sold in over 60 countries, been featured in media outlets around the world, and has won several international awards. ImpactGames newest product "Play the News" addresses the shifting online news-media industry and is changing news consumption from passive reading to active engagement.

JWAC's annual global knowledge competition fundraiser
Come join the fun as teams compete for honor and glory in this test of geographical and cultural knowledge. Dishes from around the world will be served for dinner, a silent auction will be held, and there will be a no-host bar (persons under 21 please be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Tickets are $50 ($25 for students) and are available from JWAC board members and Hearthside books.

Glimpses of Malawi: the country, the people and the clean well project with Paul Beran
Paul will take us into the bush of one of the world's poorest countries. The team Paul was on installed almost 60 hand pumps, each serving from 50 to 300 people in a three-way partnership between the village, the Church, and Marion Medical Mission. The mission was aimed at providing clean, safe water -something that greatly decreases small child mortality and water-born diseases.
